A “One Hundred Dollar Hamburger” was originally coined as a term among small aircraft pilots to describe taking a flight, eating near the airport and then returning home. The reason for this would’nt be for the meal itself, but rather for the entire experience of flying somewhere, having a meal and then flying home; often making the total cost for a burger in excess of $100. I chose it as the title because it sums up this blog perfectly. It’s about food, travel and the experiences I gather along the way, and I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy making it!
